V&D Interiors is recruiting for a Site Manager to join its expanding operations department covering the West Midlands area.
The right individual will work alongside the project manager to manage site operations.
Experience of managing sites is required and experience in drylining would be beneficial.
The site manager will assist the contracts manager to:
- Supervise and organise installation teams onsite to ensure works are carried out effectively and to programme.
- Manage delivery’s and orders of plant and materials to ensure installation teams have correct materials and access equipment to carry out works.
- Ensure all health and safety policies are being carried out and ensure all workforce are working safely.
- Carry out quality checks on works and ensure works are being carried out to a high standard.
- Liaise with customers site team to resolve any issues.
- Building and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Work with installation teams and labourers to ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy.
The ideal candidate would have the below Skillset/Experience:
- Previous Site Management experience.
- Previous experience of managing subcontractors.
- Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Knowledge or experience of Drylining, Drywall or Plastering would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills.
