What we do?
At V&D Interiors and Exteriors we invest heavily in training throughout all of the organisation from trainees to management. We believe as one of the leading interior and exterior specialist’s our staff and employees should be trained to have the skills and knowledge to provide our clients the best level of service.
Our largest investment in training is our award winning in house training facility where we train trainee plasterers, fixers, fitters and renders. This is a custom built training facility which consists of 6 training bays which provides training for up to 20 trainees at a time. It has also been used by the FIS and CITB to film a virtual reality video which will provide information about the plastering and drylining roles which will be used across colleges, schools and university’s up all across the country.
This facility is revolutionary in the industry and unlike anything any other companies are able to offer at the moment and has received recognition from some of the industries market leaders and has been featured in various news article’s.
The trainee programme we provide offers unrivalled benefits to both trainee and employer and provides our trainees with an NVQ in their chosen and offers an entry into the construction industry which previously wasn’t available.
This facility also provides a British Gypsum 6 week plastering course which is the only one in the country which is provided by a drylining and plastering contractor. This collaboration with British Gypsum has provided an excellent opportunity for the local area and the community.
